VIPHair4UTraining offers Professional Beauty Direct accredited courses, taught one-to-one by Jacquie, a fully qualified teacher and experienced professional educator.
With previous experience educating for L'Oréal Professionnel and Toni & Guy, Jacquie brings professional industry education into a personalised, practical training environment.
Our accredited courses offer an alternative to the college-style NVQ qualification route. While NVQ programmes include theory and assessment across different units, my courses take a more streamlined approach, with a strong focus on hands-on, practical training.
I still teach the essential theory and knowledge you need, but integrate it into the practical training rather than repeatedly covering the same information across different units.
As training is one-to-one, I can work at your pace and give you individual guidance throughout.
Do I need an NVQ to be a hairdresser?
No. An NVQ is not the only route into hairdressing.
My courses are accredited by Professional Beauty Direct, who reviewed my qualifications, teaching credentials and course content as part of the accreditation process.
Some employers may specifically require an NVQ. However, if your goal is to work for yourself or rent a chair, my accredited training provides a practical alternative and enables you to obtain the appropriate professional insurance on successful completion.
You will learn the essential theory, but with a greater focus on hands-on, one-to-one practical training.
