Meet Jacquie Your Trainer & Educator.
With 30 years' experience in the barbering and hairdressing industry and 14 years as a private educator, I created VIPHair4UTraining to offer adults a flexible, practical route into hairdressing and barbering without going back to college.
My career has included training at Harrods in London, working on cruise ships, educating and stage work with Toni & Guy and L'Oréal, and working as an Area Manager responsible for 15 hair and beauty salons in and around London.
Who Do I Train?
My courses are designed especially for adult learners in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond who want a new career but can't commit to a lengthy college course because of work, family or other commitments. Training is one-to-one and personalised, giving you focused, practical tuition at your own pace.
My courses are accredited and insurable. They are not NVQs, but on successful completion of the relevant course, you can obtain appropriate insurance and public liability cover to work independently.
My support doesn't end when your course does. I'm here to support you as you build your skills, confidence and new career.

I am nervous — what if I am not good enough?
Most beginners feel nervous at first. Our supportive training environment is designed to help students grow in confidence step-by-step without feeling overwhelmed. As training is 1-2-1, we can go as slow or as fast as you.
Will I get enough support as a beginner?
Yes. Because training is delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, students receive personal guidance, step-by-step support, and continuous feedback throughout your learning journey. Jacquie does not disappear once your course finishes, she is aways at the end of the phone for support.
When can training start?

Can I start earning money after completing the course?
Part of your course is case studies. Before and after photos of your work. You can then use these to advertise your business. Many students go on to work for themself, freelance. To get a job in a salon that will be subject to an interview and trade test.
